While I was watching Ascot this year the fashion expert James (something or other) mentioned that hats were very big this year and he said that he thought that the fascinator has been assassinated. Well, I don't know where he was looking but I saw thousands of ladies wearing fascinators and were looking stunning in them. We have sold more fascinators this year than last for Ascot races aswell as for weddings etc. I really think these fashion experts especially the ones at Ascot do seem to focus on the very top end of society and really are very snobbish about the whole occasion. We even sent two to Buckingham Palace this year, if they're good enough for Buckingham Palace they're good enough for anyone. Everybody has their own reasons for wearing either a fascinator or a hat, some people just detest hats and find them very awkward to wear or that they simply don't suit them.
For weddings fascinators are a great choice especially if going to the evening reception you can take out the fascinator and your hair will still be looking great whereas with a hat your hair will look as flat as a pancake.
